Another week and another round of updates. With this release a few things got easier, cleaner, and a bit more pleasant to use. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asgarth/23tbKK4dnb1VasDBTARQUV14fbZELt5MFLvbEmUZZRhbmrNMYdZDRpeoR5L8baD5xNXVV.png) ### Witnesses and DHF Proposals got some quality of life improvements I spent a bit of time on the governance side of PeakD, and it is in a much better place now. The [witnesses page](/witnesses) now includes a proper **witness details modal** with its own shareable link. That makes it much easier to inspect a witness, check votes, approve or remove approval, and send someone directly to the exact witness you want them to look at. The direct link to a witness detail modal is simple: https://peakd.com/witnesses?witness=steempeak ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asgarth/23t75BM8nZ2dmgt3b5pGvA4toqmQCSpgufVTZCMXsFxJVkvRqrCcL18Xz3DSAgfd4BCRi.png) On the proposals page, related accounts are now grouped together instead of looking like totally separate islands. So pages like **Peak Projects** can now show connected work in one place, and the same idea also works for a few other ecosystem teams. ### Some cleanup on the Signup flow The signup page also got a refresh. The biggest improvement is that the choices make more sense now. The old HiveOnboard path is gone, and the free option now points to **Hivedapps** with a clear explanation of how it works. Free is still free, but it may take longer and depends on a community member creating the account. It also just looks better overall, including some follow-up cleanup for layout and dark mode. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asgarth/23tRvaJHpdpXQ97gQH1f15yC5T2NkDSnHbvpCPhnhXTxDfS1phfs2ndhgYXerrk7vJfmU.png) ### Analytics keeps turning into a real account cockpit The analytics page got another nice feature inspired by the code development activity grid charts. It gives you a quick feel for how active you have been during the past months without making you decode a bunch of different charts.
![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asgarth/23tw61gspaqnYghgYk8xrM7q4e6T7Qcp5EyPuL5Nr7zu7LBwnQLtyYAx7sVYExaX4zpJb.png)
Big credit here to **@peak.open** too, because the stats backend behind this is a big part of why the page is getting genuinely useful. ### You can now reblog comments too This one is simple, but useful: **comments can now be reblogged directly from the comment menu**. Kudos to @dalz for requesting this change. That includes normal reblogging, removing a reblog, and the "Add to Blog" wording for your own stuff. If you actually use your blog/feed for curation, this was an annoying missing piece for way too long. ### More AI image options, with fewer broken previews I also added a couple more AI image generation models. This release adds **Chroma (Free)** and **Grok Imagine**, which gives a bit more variety when generating cover images and other visuals directly inside PeakD. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/asgarth/23twA2WUDi7AenmbuHXXtD7Zq32cZhFnh4wdEJiUXGqQfJdJUUYSVeUZKYe6722bqTnft.png) ### Other fixes that remove friction A few smaller changes still worth mentioning: - based on community feedback, the Discovery feed now gives **newer posts more priority**, which should help keep it feeling a bit more fresh - wallet power-up activity values now use the expected number formatting - the first Hive bridge API call no longer sends empty pagination parameters, which should help avoid some awkward loading in account post views Of course you can check out the full changelog directly on this page: https://peakd.com/about/changelog ### Feedback welcome If any of these changes feel better, worse, or still incomplete on your side, let me know in comments as usual.
