Watches as a symbol of time, stories and memories. ⏲

<div class="text-justify"> --- >Watches measure time, and that is why I see them as the very embodiment of time itself, our time, universal time, but within that time there are also many stories to be told, and these bring back memories of unforgettable moments. ---  --- I never had many watches; when I was a teenager, I liked digital watches with numbers, they were practical and quick to check the time, whereas analogue ones were more complicated, as you had to wind them up to make them work. Those were the days; it feels as though an eternity has passed or that it was in another life. I always took great care of what I owned, which is why I didn’t change my watch very often. And when the first mobile phones came out, I stopped wearing watches altogether; they bothered me on my wrist. In fact, I don’t even wear bracelets; I like freedom, and I believe in freedom from the constraints of time too. --- ||| |-|-| ||| --- All those watches I owned over the years broke and were thrown away, and after that I never bought another one. I used my mobile or computer to check the time, and as I worked with them, I always had the time to hand. >When I saw the initiative, I immediately thought to myself: I don’t have any; with just two watches I brought back from Argentina as souvenirs, I can’t start a collection, but help and ingenuity can overcome scarcity. It was then, whilst talking to my mother, that she said to me: ‘I’ve got a few, although two or three of them don’t work, but I keep them as mementos.’ And it was at that moment that I thought: I’ve got a chance. What’s more, my imagination ran wild and I remembered the city’s clocks. ---       <center></center> --- Let’s start with the latter. In the city, on very important buildings, there are clocks and they are imposing. All the tourists stop at those spots to take photos; in fact, people have often called me over to take a photo of them there. The four photos are of the clock on the main town hall, the Málaga Port Authority building, an iconic building in Plaza Constitución, and a building I think is called Apartamentos Morgan, where there’s a giant clock at the very top. --- ![20260610_181808.jpg](https://files.pe […]
