It's about a beautiful butterfly called [Antaria Jatrophaae](https://animaldiversity.org/accounts/Anartia_jatrophae/). **Geographic Location** This species is naturally found in the Eastern Region and the state of Sucre, as it possesses the following conditions: Being a state with extensive coastal wetlands, riverbanks, and tropical scrubland, it offers an open and humid environment that this butterfly prefers to live and reproduce in—in other words, the perfect habitat. Also growing easily in this area are herbs from the Acanthaceae and Verbena families, such as Phyla nodiflora (Ruelia), which are the specific plants where the females lay their eggs and whose leaves serve as food for their caterpillars. This insect can be seen fluttering at low altitudes in urban gardens of cities like Cumaná or Carúpano, as well as along rural trails and savannas throughout the state. </div> <div class=text-justify> <div class="pull-right"> **<center>ESPAÑOL</center>** Hola amigos amantes de la naturaleza espero que tengan un excelente y bendecido fin de semana, esta es mi entrada para el concurso [El animal más bonito](https://peakd.com/hive-174680/@hive-174680/last-days-of-the-contest-prettiest-animal), se trata de una hermosa mariposa llamada [Antaria Jatrophaae](https://animaldiversity.org/accounts/Anartia_jatrophae/). **Ubicación Geográfica** Esta especie se encuentra de forma natural en la región Oriental y el estado Sucre , ya que posee las siguientes condiciones: Al ser un estado con amplias zonas costeras humedales bordes de ríos y malezas tropicales ofrece un entorno abierto y húmedo que esta mariposa prefiere para vivir y reproducirse en otras palabras el hábitat perfecto. También en esta zona crecen con facilidad la hierbas de la familia Acanthaceae y Verbena ese como lo a Phyla nodiflora o la Ruelia) que son las plantas específicas donde las hembras depositan sus huevos y cuyas hojas sirven de alimento para sus orugas es un insecto que se puede ver revoloteando a baja altura tanto en jardines urbanos de ciudades como Cumaná o Carúpano y en los senderos rurales y sabanas del estado. </div>       <hr> <div class=text-justify> <div class="pull-left"> I found this butterfly in a garden in the El Peñón area while walking to church with my son.
