I mean the town is pretty much synonymous with the state. In fact, if you were to look at a map, you would probably be hard pressed to find another city in Nevada that is nearly as big as Vegas. Of course, the capital of Nevada is Carson City which you have to zoom in pretty close to even find. Then of course we have Reno, but I'll get to that in a bit. I've said this before, but I've been to Nevada three times in my life. All of them were to Vegas, but one of my favorite memories is the time we rented a car and actually got outside of Vegas and saw some of the countryside around Nevada. Of course, Nevada is a huge state, so our day trip only took us through a small portion of it, but we still got to see some really awesome things.
![IMG_20190331_105545.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/bozz/EpJXAiifqJ4ob67NtydG8VCFL4i1iytfet6nwhbChWr5bLGVDbbRqKQRxXZF9BPPSf5.jpg)
----------------------------- With Nebraska in our rear view mirror, we now move along to Nevada (obviously). For this state, the trouble wasn't finding three songs to share with you today for #threetunetuesday sponsored by @ablaze. Instead, the big issues was narrowing it down to the three songs that I wanted to share. There are just so many. In this case, there are two that specifically reference Reno, Nevada, which is why I made a point of mentioning it earlier. As for the other one, it is just a classic song that you may have never heard before. In addition to that, I wanted to keep my streak going of seeing how many songs I could share for different states by the same artist. I'll get to that in a second though.
![IMG_20190331_105030.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/bozz/EppKDdXntPe4ZeeBbY45oioAGStyEznahNpKTtF7zjT9ojpc7s6stTmC4jX8VSjGLBp.jpg)
---------------------------- So let's get to it!

-------------------------- [Direct Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-tFkOBU1BQ&list=RD8-tFkOBU1BQ&start_radio=1) ------------------------- If you have been following me for a while, you should know that Counting Crows is no stranger to this series. In fact, I would venture to guess that Counting Crows is probably one of my most used bands for Three Tune Tuesday. They might not be right at the top of the list, but they are up there. I'll be a bit honest, the video for "Palisades Park" isn't the easiest to watch. It's got some themes that a lot of people might find hard to watch. You have to remember though, this song is quite a bit older than you might realize and while some people might immediately shutter it to the bin of woke crap, there are some heavy themes in there that people struggle with on a daily basis. As I said, there is a reference to Reno Nevada in there if you take the time to listen. It's a great song with an interesting story, though Counting Crows is always know for telling interesting stories. That's part of what I love about them.

-------------------------------- [Direct Link](https://www.youtube.com/ […]
