Art You've Never Seen

Today I'm back with more amazing textile and fiber artworks and also want to show you something you've never seen (most likely). It requires some attention to see everything and this time I can say, I was able to surprise the gallery curator as well. ![Art You've Never Seen.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/48Qub8prN3JmiQxd8oP3fTKkS8BHdzoA97xAQa6Ug5A67CyF2yAnfyWTxPBAdvrEar.jpg) She's at the gallery 7 hours per day and she's going through the exhibition each day for a week, to memorize every artwork, which is a wonderful thing as it burns the artworks into your memory forever, but she didn't notice this detail. ![20260528_125634a.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/48Y8xF2PKS59kV4edgPJuqo2aq5Nz1fk7jaxQb59oFTB9PFTX2h5se1B731E9ydtas.jpg) *Krisztina Molnár - Unmatched* The second I realized what this artwork is made of, I started smiling, even though I was alone at the top level of the gallery. Must be shocking to some, to see such *thing*, but from artistic point of view, it's a brilliant idea and has a lot to say as well. At least that's how I see it. I truly hope you noticed it's made of socks. Yes, socks, no matter how shocking it looks or seems. It is called *Unmatched* and I think it refers to all those unmatched socks that you can have due to losing one (maybe during washing) or one worn out. The other meaning could be what you see on the photo, which is a boat floating on the sea or some kind of water. Most likely it is not easy to paint on such surfaces, as the texture of those socks differ a lot from a plain and firm canvas, but as the artwork shows, it's possible. Now tell me, have you seen such an artwork? ![20260528_124023(0)a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/Eonn1wpmPtAX5LBAuAdZvzk39iMsXNfHjhYENBSVSmSV8Tp3FRbPqVEPSWMmHFSQgcK.JPG) ![20260528_124028a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23wgPvP56DeddjuRfopat31VhRrankMp2aA6SvxxDdF56ZBoYtA5h2YcLew6iB4HjY57D.JPG) They say there's no limit when it comes to art and you get the proof each time you visit an exhibition. Here you had several proofs, if it was needed at all. ![20260528_124037a.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23xL35dDxFCoQojMX6BK9RAV67SnJhSjzGojbX57vLTYjJsKsLARiZqq7X8DPqDWGZdQD.jpg) *Mana Bucur - Rupture* Not my kind of art and would definitely not hang it on my wall, but I appreciate the idea and the execution. ![20260528_124101a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23xKxrCbFiAN6PLNH5YasB5qeoVXSZdCTPy4RD1tSbQYLNeozx8kENPhzMxLZ2ghGBnU7.JPG) *Erna Judith Berger Moise - Plant Signs* Should have taken some close up photos to show you the crocheted edge and the leaves made of fabric. It's a good idea, to illustrate plants and leaves. ![20260528_124119a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23wCJXGo4qjsejMVj6SChBmRmmNsDXV5FYqBupRZFju1ZSeiCKG26JK4oCEKvmgDg1W7K.JPG) *Erna Judith Berger Moise & Kata Merkler - Journal For Mom* Seeing two artists working on a single artwork is not very common, but it seems this was created by two ladies. I love that frame with the rusty hinge, it makes everything so vintage. ![20260528_124145a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/48SqSTbbPbo5VdACK5TLquN3yBkoYDbFa1wJ1i3oM1TpU9GpcNTP3QMnXvvaNFDt3d.JPG) *Maria Gliga - The Magic Of The Square* This is your riddle for today. I'm kind of confused here, so I'll let you solve this mystery for me, then we discuss it. ![20260528_124159a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23y8x6umFkq7e1gs6YSy1pyHPtycb4Ys3Y8n5s9d5FE73sTGkpsTeKyZX8DPXgJJqJhWj.JPG) *Anamaria Pascu - Red* It reminds me of night life 😬 ![20260528_124250a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23ywpnH9N9Mi9gKS3EBYqviwkxWBK7rpbz73fQAaNKwJokm3DswHvBkL3DtFbxrAyVLLk.JPG) *Daniel Gorban - Routes* Those buttons can be used in a lot of ways, and creating art is one of them. ![20260528_124304a.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/erikah/23y […]
