<div class="text-justify"> The world of mass food production started to interest me when I was 14 years old, without knowing that several years later I would end up working in that field. The first production process I was assigned to study at school was that of yerba mate, the beloved herb that is consumed daily by almost everyone in our country. Learning what happens at each stage of the chain, from planting to reaching the final consumer, fascinated me so much that I eventually became obsessed with <strong>wanting to know how all the other foods we see on our tables every day are made 😃.</strong> <blockquote> El mundo de la producción masiva de alimentos me empezó a interesar desde que tenía 14 años, sin saber que varios años más tarde terminaría dedicándome a eso. El primer proceso productivo que me hicieron estudiar en la escuela fue el de la Yerba Mate, el "yuyo" tan preciado y consumido diariamente por casi todos en nuestro país. I still do not have a very extensive résumé, but ever since I graduated, I knew clearly that my ideal job would be one where I could stay connected to the factory and follow a product from start to finish. Fortunately, I have achieved that today, working in a factory that produces deli meats. <blockquote> Siendo un Ingeniero en Alimentos, podes dedicarte a muchas áreas dentro de la cadena productiva, desde los asuntos legales de la producción, laboratorio, producción y hasta la dirección técnica que empresas enteras. There is always a lot of misinformation about what ingredients deli meats contain, with people claiming they are made from strange or low-quality raw materials and that this is why they are so cheap. I was worried I would come across a disgusting production process and never be able to eat deli meats again, but fortunately, the company I work for is very responsible and takes the quality of its products very seriously. <blockquote> Debo decir que al principio me "asustaba" un poco trabajar en una empresa de fiambres porque tenía miedo de ver alguna cosa que no me gustara. Siempre hay mucha desinformación en cuanto a qué ingredientes llevan los fiambres, aludiendo a que se hacen con materias primas raras o de mala calidad, y que por eso son tan baratos.
