In the last week or so these plants have really taken off and growing quite fast. With their big leaves forming, they are branching out and making for lots of vertical growth right now. They are probably a good three feet tall at this point. Though I think they will get a lot bigger before they are done, this is just the beginning of their vegetative cycle. They have until around August before they start flowering. So a good two months for them to get big before they start focusing on flowering. https://i.postimg.cc/GmRJhKbf/20260608-140735.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/hj4MPVZP/A1.png Strain:|Desfrán | -|-| https://i.postimg.cc/3NVZBV8d/B3.png Dominance: | 100% sativa https://i.postimg.cc/FRPpf1wb/C2.png Nutrients used: | Generic potting soil / NPK fertilizer https://i.postimg.cc/D08g1nK9/D3.png Lineage: | Destroyer x Meao Thai landrace https://i.postimg.cc/KcHQxkPx/E2.png Current growing stage: | Vegetative | https://i.postimg.cc/8Pf45p4W/F1.png Current plant age: | 81 days old https://i.postimg.cc/vZRzxJ2K/G2.png Sex: | Feminized https://i.postimg.cc/YC1x6dJC/H1.png Location: | Central Virginia https://i.postimg.cc/WbgwvCc9/20260608-140615.jpg It has been pretty hot the last few days, making sure they get enough water every 2-3 days right now. https://i.postimg.cc/pXzJH4M1/20260608-140619.jpg I like how they went from a more muddled green to a very vibrant green. Making me think they really needed more space. Now they have it they should grow quite a bit. https://i.postimg.cc/c4wBS2Gj/20260608-140626.jpg Now I just have to keep the others "weeds" away from my weed. https://i.postimg.cc/GhGxCVnV/20260608-140630.jpg In another week I wonder how much bigger they will be. https://i.postimg.cc/VLnW8pP2/20260608-140634.jpg With the summer just starting, it will be quite warm for awhile. With soil temps elevated I think we will see lots of growth as long as the plant stay happy. https://i.postimg.cc/9FZYhKjH/20260608-140639.jpg With those big leaves I think that they are well on their way to producing some great buds. https://i.postimg.cc/5NLSVTMV/20260608-140724.jpg You can surely see them more easily now, but over time they will be come harder and harder to miss. https://i.postimg.cc/pLvYXC2N/20260608-140814.jpg The smell alone you will notice before you even see them, right now they have a slight smell but soon it will become more potent as the plant concentrates on producing high yield buds and sugar leaves. But for the moment the plant is focusing on making roots throughout the soil, hoping it likes the more bowl spaces holes instead of just deep narrow holes. Soon those roots should be reaching the fertilizer rich layer of the potting soil I put in the ground. With all of that added there is no need to use my liquid fertilizers until possibly during flowering. Depending on how quickly the plants use up the graniuar fertilizer already added into the potting soil. Here in Virginia I can grow up to four plants at a time, since one did not make it I started another one. The replacement is coming up now, just a little seedling. But I hope in a few weeks it can join them outside and maybe even get pretty big before it starts to flowering when the sunlight hours change. I have the seedling in a plantable pot so I think it should be less likely to go into shock like the others did. Probably how I lost that one originally, just need to find a good solution for transplanting. ### Previous posts on this grow: https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-10 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-20 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-30 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-40 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-51 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-61 https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@solominer/desfran-day-70
